South African Combatives is a Proudly South African Company that has established a ‘Close Quarters Combat’ self-defence system, used by special-forces and now specifically designed for civilians. People are now trained to become acquainted with tactics and expertise in order to be better equipped for situations wherein they should fend for them-selves.

Given the current situation in South Africa with regards to ‘a need for a safe and secure environment’, this SAC skills course aims to sensitise South African citizens in order to obtain survival skills by means of teaching them Close Quarter Combat and survival techniques, which comprises self-defence tactics at a level of competence where-in a civilian can efficiently and instinctively neutralize a sudden unexpected violent attacker.

Mr Lenord e. le Hanie is a well known and respected, qualified 6th Dan Black Belt Master in the arts and has over 25 years experience in full-contact sports, mainly Taekwondo. Further to this, he served in the South African National Defence Force: the Special Forces ‘1 Parachute Battalion’ and Chief Staff Intelligence in Namibia. During 2003 he underwent training in the USA and acquainted himself with Close Quarters Combat-techniques taught to the US military special operation units.

According to recent findings as portrayed by the CIA, it is a fact that approximately 70% of black belts and other law enforcement officers cannot defend themselves properly during situations such as violent assaults. Survival became a definite niche that need to be addressed in the modern era.

Our main philosophy is to benefit members of the public, military, policing personnel and other special agents. We strive to deliver a professional, reliable and competitive service of its kind by means of:

In a very short while we had been able to capture a significant portion of interest among serving militants, the agricultural and civilian market. Existing clients includes businessmen, professionals such as doctors, engineers, lawyers, healthcare personnel, farmers, travellers, medical practitioners, the corporate sector etc.
